RWE Bowling League
Rolling with Empowerment
We are excited to announce the launch of Rolling with Empowerment (RWE) Bowling League for individuals with disabilities in South Australia. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the fun and camaraderie of bowling, in a team orientated sport!
The league will provide many benefits, including improved physical fitness, mental health, and social connections.
The league will be hosted in partnership with Zone Bowling across three locations – Woodville, Cross Road and Noarlunga. The league runs weekly for 5 months starting January 2024, with a final interzone tournament. Prizes are awarded throughout the competition. It is a great way to make new friends, stay active, and have fun.

Our Mission
Our goal is to provide a fun and healthy activity, while also building relationships. The league will provide many benefits, including improved physical fitness, mental health, and social connections. Bowling is a low-impact form of exercise that can improve strength, balance, coordination, and overall fitness. Participating in a regular activity such as a bowling league can reduce social isolation and improve overall mood. It can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, which are common mental health challenges faced by people with disabilities. The social aspect of the league can assist in building connections with others and feeling more connected to the community.
The league can also help to improve self-esteem and self-confidence. By participating in an activity alongside others and being part of a team, it can help to boost self-worth, and encourage self-expression and independence.
